Last week’s Winter Farmers’ Market had more local produce than ever – yes, in December! Our wonderful vendors also offers eggs, bread, cheese, honey, jams, and sweet treats. Area artisans also offered unique crafts and gifts for your holiday season. The Port Washington Winter Farmers’ Market is unique in our community, with vendors from Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, and Washington counties – as well as from our own Ozaukee County, of course!
Our Christmas tree raffle on December 8th was a big success! Three market customers were excited to find out they won a $30 tree voucher from making a $15 purchase at the market. How’s that for a return on your investment? The vendors were happy with the extra sales, and the host of the Winter Farmers’ Market, First Congregational Church, sold three more trees from their lot.
Please help us spread the word about our special market!
The Winter Farmers’ Market really needs a crushing crowd from the community who are intent on investing in local food! Start your Saturday grocery shop at the Port Washington Winter Farmers’ Market for fresh, local, wonderful items for your table – and know that you are supporting independent farmers, producers, and artisans.
